Born in October 1952, Venkatraman Muralidhar is an alumnus of the Bombay University; with degrees in Chemistry, Business Management and Law. Chemistry helped him to set up his industry; Business Management helped him to run his business profitably. And, his study of Law woke him up! Venkatraman has spent over 20 years studying the impact on the common man and, the Country due to delayed justice; issues related to social activism; judicial reforms.
It is only recently that the Forum for Fast Justice offered him a platform, to come out of the cloister and share his in depth knowledge with the like minded. As a Hon. Trustee for the Forum for Fast Justice, he now has the vehicle to translate his views and opinions into action, for the benefit of people at large. He is the Managing Director of Bakers Choice and Marvel Foods.
These two companies are engaged in the manufacture of Chemicals and Additives for the Bakery and Food Industry in general. Practically, a first in the industry. As an active social worker Venkatraman has several recognitions to his credit, Venkatraman was the youngest elected Chapter President of the 'Juhu Junior Chamber' in 1979 and then became the 'Founder State President' of the 'Maharashtra State Jaycees' in 1982.
The 'Maharashtra State Government', had acknowledged Venkatraman's contribution by appointing him on the 'Food & Drug Administration Panel' to streamline safety and hygiene standards. Also, the 'Government of Italy' invited him to represent India at their International Trade Symposium and Fair.
Venkatraman has travelled widely in connection with his effort to bridge the technological and knowledge gaps between the east and the west. Today, Venkatraman continues to contribute his expertise for social causes and spends his time and energy sharing the rich and varied experience in his capacity as a management and business consultant and a resource trainer and more importantly a crusader for Fast Justice through judicial reforms.
